Hi. Your articles of faith are beautiful. Read through them and noticed you left out a line in the 13th... "We believe all things..." Before "we hope all things..."

Too cute to not be correct :). Keep up the good work!

Thank you CE, I am so glad you caught that! The change has been made.

Thank you Breanne. Creating these for kids in my ward primary was rewarding in and of itself, but being able to share with you and people all over pinterest has me grateful once again for the technology we have today.

My son and I sat down last week and created goals for his Faith in God award. As part of that he needs to memorize the AOF. I was going to make up some cards but these are BEAUTIFUL!! Sooo much better than anything I could come up with!! Found you via Sugardoodle (love her!). THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!

That's wonderful Aimee! I am so glad you are helping your son with his Faith in God award, that's the main reason I created these. Thank you for your comment.

I hope you don't mind.. I LOVE these printables. I mean, love them.. but I had the idea last night of making them in that faux chalkboard effect.. so I copied your prints. I'm absolutely not going to sell them, and I've made sure to let anyone who sees them know that I got the idea from your site.. but anyway, I can email them to you if you like. I love how they turned out. I love both styles, really, and thanks so much for the free download.

Hi Kaelie, i click through many websites on faith, frugal living, homeschooling, mommy-ing, etc. and yours is one that i stumbled upon the other day. The Articles of Faith printables are beautifully done. i am not Mormon but would like to set some of these, in our own faith tradition, around our home classroom for my children. Would you be willing to share with a very non geeky mother what font & program, etc. you used. i don't normally ask this sort of thing but i am so very moved by them. Thank you. And if you decide that you can't share this information, i completely understand. May God bless you & your efforts with the children always.

Hi Tina, Thank you. The cursive is done in Adios and the sans serif is Univers. Those are both on the expensive side, so I would suggest using Helvetica if it came with your computer and Alex Brush (http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/alex-brush). If you don't have Helvetica, try PT Sans (http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/PT-Sans). All fonts on FontSquirrel.com are free and you don't have to worry about commercial licensing, it's my favorite font site. Good luck!

beautiful!! thank you so much for sharing with us!! I printed them out for my 8 year old, so she can start memorizing for faith in god. I just noticed that the 13th one is missing a line "we believe all things"... if you are able to fix that, i would looooove it!! thank you!!

Reply

Thank you Jen, I fixed it on the file a while ago but forgot to fix it on the slide show. Both are correct now. I'm so glad you are helping your 8 year old memorize the articles of faith - that is precisely why I created them. :)

LOVE these! Thanks for sharing. I just printed them out for fhe. Is there any way for me to change each one to an 81/2 by 11 size? I would love to display them in a frame and change them out each month!

Thank you Jeanne, These were created for 5x7 frames. You might be able to send them to the printer to have them resized though.

Thank you Teresa! Not that I know of. If you are having problems, you can open the PDF in adobe and save it as a jpg. If you don't have adobe reader, you can download it here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

is there a way to print these so each one is a full sheet of paper? this would help some of my children be able to read them better as they need glasses and we can not afford them.

Reply
1/9/2014 02:23:33 am

You can take them to the printer and have them sized up. They should be able to open the files and manipulate them as well.
Sorry to hear about your students needing glasses, that's unfortunate.
If the printer isn't able to help you, you might be able to find something more legible on sugardoodle.net.

I saw this and was hoping for a one-page printable like the promo here:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152165601462037&set=a.196232832036.172154.194810092036&type=1&theater
Any chance of that? Thank you for sharing your beautiful work!

Hi Margaret,

Thank you for your interest.

That promo was created to illustrate the different articles. They are in frames the same way they are on the pdf. I did not intend to mislead you in anyway.

You can take them to a local copy shop or printer to have them resized.

If you google "Articles of Faith printables" you can find some great full page designs out there. I've linked to one in the previous comment I made in reply to Holly.
